Elizabeth Lape
Elizabeth Lape currently holds the position of President and CEO at Ackenheil Engineers, Inc. and has recently become the proud owner of the company. In this role, she successfully leads a team of highly skilled engineers and technicians. Her dedication to providing exceptional service to our clients is unwavering.
Before taking on her ownership role at Ackenheil Engineers, Elizabeth gained valuable experience as a consultant for prominent accounting firms. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Robert Morris University and furthered her education with a Masters in Business Administration from California University of Pennsylvania.

Burton R. Holt, P.E.
Senior Geotechnical Engineer
During his extensive 29-year tenure with the company, Mr. Holt has gained comprehensive experience in all aspects of geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and construction inspection. Jesse T. Lape, P.E.
Project Engineer
Mr. Lape is an accomplished Geotechnical Engineer with a strong focus, logical approach, and unwavering dedication to his work. Throughout his 15 years of experience, he has consistently demonstrated his critical thinking skills through effective geotechnical investigations, leading to successful outcomes for all stakeholders involved in a project. Kathleen Staub, E.I.T.
Staff Engineer
Since 2011, Kathleen has been an integral member of the Ackenheil Team. Her extensive knowledge and experience in various civil projects and materials testing allow her to adeptly handle the challenges that often arise during construction projects.
David Roebuck
Chief Laboratory Technician
David Roebuck brings more than 22 years of expertise in geotechnical laboratory testing. He currently holds the role of Chief Laboratory Technician at Ackenheil, in addition to being certified by PennDOT for construction inspection and test boring inspection.
Erica Gooding
Office Administrator
Erica Gooding has been a valued member of Ackenheil Engineers, Inc. since 2011, serving as our dedicated office administrator. Her integral role not only supports the smooth functioning of our office, but also positions her as a crucial liaison for both clients and the Ackenheil Team.
