Ackenheil Engineers, Inc. has been the forefront of geotechnical engineering since its establishment in 1958 by the esteemed Dr. Alfred C. Ackenheil. As a faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Ackenheil saw the need for students to immediately apply their learnings and put them into practice. With this vision in mind, he founded Ackenheil Engineers, Inc., with a mission to provide top-notch geotechnical engineering services that exceed industry standards.
